Haider Ali makes the nation proud after winning the gold medal in Paralympics
Pakistan Athletic champion Haider Ali make’s history and also making the nation proud by winning the first ever gold medal in Paralympics.
According to Pakistan Radio, Ali achieved an occurrence of 55.26 meters in the fifth attempt out of a total of six and got the best distance.
"This Gold will be very important for Para sport in my country. They will see what can be achieved through hard work and to be able to compete internationally for Pakistan." - Haider Ali
After winning the gold medal Punjab government has announced Rs2.5 million cash reward for Haider Ali.
He have also stated due to the covid-19 pandemic all the training facilities and grounds were closed so he have train on his own.
After his spectacular achievement he have also sparked an interest in the youth and young generation inspiring them and telling them to achieve something they have to come out of there comfort zone.
